All India Conference on ‘Save The Planet’
An All India Conference on ‘Save the Planet’ was organized at Santivan, Talheti from 9th to 12th Sept. 2000. This Conference was oganized keeping in view the ‘Culture of peace’ year and as per the fifth point in the manifesto -2000 – ‘Preserve the Planet’. The conference was inaugurated by Mrs. Jakia Inam, Minster for S & T, Govt. of Rajasthan. The conference had 3 Plenary sessions and 10 Technical seminars on different topics. A resolution was adopted in the valedictory session by all the participants. The conference was also addressed by Mr. B.S.Rawat, Union Minister of State for S & T, Govt. of India, and Mr. Bhagraj Chaudhary, Minister of Environment, Govt. of Rajasthan.

Patiala, 2000 – A one day Conference on ‘Science and Engineering for Holistic Development’ was organised on 29th Oct. 2000 at Patiala which was inaugurated by Mr. Prakash Singh Badal, Chief Minister of Punjab. The conference had two Technical streams – ‘Human Re-Engineering for the Holistic Development’ and ‘Environmental Mgt. – a unique approach’.

Bhilai, 2000 – A one day Conference on ‘Cherished Values and Organisational Growth’ was organised in collaboration with Bhilai Steel Plant, SAIL. On 9th Dec. 2000. In the conference there were 3 Technical workshops – ‘Sustainable development’, ‘Relevance of ancient ethos in Modern Mgt.’ and ‘Science & Engineering for holistic development.’ In addition, there were two panel discussions – ‘Enhancing Efficiency & Productivity in organisations’, and ‘Managing Personal Change for meeting Challenges.’ About 700 Scientists & Engineers attended the conference.
