Mount Abu - Seminar on ‘Science & Spirituality for a Fulfilling Life’ 2006
A seminar on ‘Science & Spirituality for a fulfilling life’ was held at Academy for a better world, Gyan Sarovar, Mount Abu from 24th to 27th May 2006. It was inaugurated by Mrs Meena Mandal, Minister of States for Archives, Archeology & Museum and co-operation, Govt. of Haryana. About 700 delegates from India & Nepal participated in it. She stressed that Spiritual values must be added in science otherwise science itself will become the cause of mass destruction. Various sessions pertaining to different aspects of life fulfillment were addressed by learned speakers in a panel discussion on Coping with disaster.
Hyderabad - Seminar on ‘Enhancing Effectiveness’
The seminar, which was inaugurated by bro G V Rawi Reddy, CEO, BHEL, Hyderabad, had two plenary sessions, one on Programming the mind for enhancing effectiveness and the other on Science of meditation. Two workshops – Work without Worry and Transforming attitude were also organised in which almost all the participants presented their views. Question-Answer and the feedback by the participants constituted the valedictory session.
Mount Abu - Dialogue on ‘Missing Dimension in Disaster Management’
A dialogue on ‘Missing dimension in Disaster Management’ was organised at Gyan Sarovar from 2nd to 6th December 2006. About 100 participants from various organisations and from different parts of India participated in it. The dialogue was inaugurated by Dadi Janki ji, the then addl.chief of Brahmakumaris, along with Mr Odhavjibhai Patel, CMD, Ajanta Clocks, Morbi, and Mr S Srinivasan, Sr GM, IFFCO, Kandla. At this occassion, an exhibition on Disaster Management was also organised which was inaugurated by Mr Gajapati Maharaj Shree Divya Singh Dev ji of Puri. Some of the sessions of the dialogue were – Coping with trauma, Holistic safety, Disaster Management – A Holistic Perspective, Core values & inner powers for social/ medical/ psychological management of disasters, Caring for the victims, Healing the nature, Rebuilding a Peaceful, Happy & Prosperous society. A cultural programme was presented by Swar Gurjari School of Performing Arts and Om Dance Academy, Ahmedabad.
