Aconference on ‘Re-opening Third Eye for Life’s Beauty’ was organised at Shantivan Complex, Abu Road from 13th to 17th September 2008. It was inaugurated by Mr Naranbhai J Rathwa, Minister of State for Railways, Govt. of India. More than 1000 delegates from India & Nepal participated in it. Learned speakers from various fields spoke on beauty of life and its interconnection with Third Eye. There were 3 plenary sessions on various themes, namely Life’s beauty – what is missing?, Third Eye for setting a clear vision of life and Exploring the wonders of Intuition, besides one Inaugural and one Valedictory session on Action Plan for Re-opening the Third Eye of Scientists & Engineers. Interdisciplinary panel discussion on Practical wisdom for Excelling in my profession was very lively. There were also five concurrent interactive sessions on Applying Spiritual wisdom in various fields  – Life Sciences/ Management/ Communication & IT/ Research & Development/ Engineering Education in which various participants also presented their views in addition to the speakers. In a separate session, various chairpersons presented the report of their respective sessions, so that the whole audience may get a taste of the proceedings what went on in other sessions.
There were two Insight sessions also in the evening which were experience oriented and learned speakers spoke on the subjects like – Experiencing the Power of Third Eye & Experiencing the God’s Power to Reawaken the Third Eye. An exercise session on Exploring Life’s Essence was a novelty in which participants exhibited their talents through music, poems and various other arts.
